Bharat Bio Industries (BBI) is a biomass pellets manufacturer based in Kadi, Gujarat. We produce premium, high-GCV (3800–4200 Kcal/kg) biomass pellets that serve as a direct, cost-effective alternative to coal for India's industrial sector.
Founded with a clear purpose — to accelerate India's industrial transition away from fossil fuels — BBI was built by engineers and entrepreneurs who understood both the energy demands of Indian manufacturing and the vast untapped potential of Gujarat's agricultural waste streams.
Our facility is strategically positioned in Kadi's industrial belt in North Gujarat, providing easy access to Gujarat's rich agricultural residue supply and seamless logistics to clients across western and central India.

Built on Verifiable Quality
We test each production batch for calorific value, ash and moisture, and share the batch lab report on request. Values are BBI's own specification, confirmed by that report.
Our Manufacturing Process
From raw agricultural waste to tested industrial fuel — a 6-step process with no chemical binders.
Feedstock Sourcing
Premium agricultural residues — cotton stalks, groundnut shells, mustard husk, and sawdust — sustainably collected from Gujarat farmers within a 150 km radius of our Kadi facility.
Drying & Sizing
Raw biomass is dried to below 10% moisture content using industrial rotary dryers, then hammer-milled to a uniform particle size for consistent briquette density.
High-Pressure Briquetting
Dried material is fed into screw-press briquetting machines producing dense 90mm briquettes (white coal) under high pressure and temperature. No binders or additives — the natural lignin acts as binding agent.
Cooling & Screening
Hot briquettes are cooled to ambient temperature, screened to remove fines, and graded by length. Undersized material can be recycled back into the press.
Lab Testing
Each production batch is sampled and tested in a laboratory for GCV, ash content, moisture, sulphur, and bulk density. The batch lab report is available on request.
Bagging & Dispatch
Tested briquettes are packed in moisture-proof HDPE bags (25 kg or 50 kg) or bulk-loaded directly into trucks for large orders. Dispatch timing is confirmed in your quote.

Groundnut Shells
Collected immediately post-monsoon. Groundnut shell is highly porous, offering excellent dry binding and consistent heat. Sourced directly from processing mills in the Saurashtra ceramic/oil hub.
Cotton Stalks & Sawdust
Harvested after cotton picking. Cotton stalks are shredded and hammer-milled. The shredded stalks suit continuous textile and chemical boiler runs.
Mustard Husk & Crop Residues
Sourced from the agricultural belts of North Gujarat. Mustard husk typically has a low moisture content and good calorific value, suited to pellets for power-plant blending and for grate boilers.
