Premium Industrial Biomass Pellets

High-GCV (4200–4600 Kcal/kg), low-ash (<2%) biomass pellets manufactured from agricultural waste in Ahmedabad, Gujarat. Direct coal replacement for industrial boilers and thermal power plant co-firing.

What are industrial biomass pellets?

Industrial biomass pellets are compressed cylindrical fuel units (6–8mm diameter) made from agricultural waste — including cotton stalks, groundnut shells, mustard husk, and wood residues. They offer 4200–4600 Kcal/kg GCV with less than 2% ash content, making them a direct, carbon-neutral replacement for coal in industrial boilers. Bharat Bio Industries manufactures and supplies these pellets from our factory in Bakrol, Ahmedabad, Gujarat.

Feedstock Types & Material Specifications

Bharat Bio Industries leverages Gujarat's abundant agricultural cycles to manufacture various types of solid biofuels. We customize the raw material blend based on your boiler type, thermal requirements, and ash fusion constraints.

Ash Fusion Temperature (AFT) & Boiler Safety

A critical factor for industrial boiler operators is the Ash Fusion Temperature (AFT). Our pellets maintain an AFT exceeding 1250°C. Sourcing clean agricultural biomass without sand, silica, or clay contamination keeps AFT high. This prevents ash from melting and forming glassy clinkers on your furnace grate or scaling on water tubes, minimizing maintenance shutdown times.

Common Questions

Biomass Pellets — FAQ

What is the MOQ for biomass pellets?

Minimum order quantity is 25 MT ex-factory Bakrol, Ahmedabad. Annual supply contracts available from 50 MT/month.

What GCV do BBI pellets offer?

4200–4600 Kcal/kg for standard high-grade. Lower-grade (3700–4100 Kcal/kg) available on request at reduced pricing.

Are these pellets compliant with co-firing mandates?

Yes. Fully compliant with India's Ministry of Power 5% biomass co-firing mandate (2021) for thermal power plants.

What raw materials are used?

Gujarat agricultural waste: cotton stalk, groundnut shell, mustard husk, and clean wood residues. Blend customized per your boiler requirements.

What is the price per kg?

₹8–₹12/kg ex-factory for bulk contracts above 25 MT. Final pricing depends on volume, location, and contract duration.

Do you provide a quality certificate?

Yes. Per-batch quality test reports covering GCV, ash content, moisture content, and bulk density with every consignment.
